So are you saying that neither of the other 2 computers can see
"Shared files" in network places?

Sanity check 1: is it "Shared Files" or "Shared Documents"?  XP has
something called "Shared Documents".

Sanity check 2: "Shared Documents" is for other users of the same
computer.  If you want it visible to users of other computers, you
must explicitly share it.
