*I* would be worried, even if you are not; that sounds like a great
way to get people to visit a site that's been set up to hijack
browsers.
The "Page not found" message could have been provided by the site, not
your system.
There is a reason that people are warned not to click on links in
unexpected emails. There's also a reason why some people keep getting
malware on their computers.
