Yes, i guessed there must have been an exceptional situation for this to 
happen to you because you don't normally do that. Since some list 
members however regularly mix up their answers with the quotes (or even 
prevent their email program from using the standard > method of 
identifying quotes) and since you're the list owner and administrator, i 
nevertheless figured you wouldn't mind and perhaps even would welcome me 
bringing the matter up with your slip as an "excuse".

Hope you get your email and settings back easily. Since you're using 
Thunderbird, you might find information you don't know at 
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird but you probably know about that site.
