[pchelpers] not writing into quotes

Hi John and everybody else

Please don't write *into* quotes and instead make sure your comments are 
*in between* on new lines (just press Enter) that are not preceded by > 
signs. (Some email programs don't use > signs and instead use a 
different color for the quote; in that case, just make sure your 
comments are not the same color.) Otherwise, your comments will be 
overlooked or you will make readers spend time doing detective work to 
find your comments.

For example, in the last email John sent (his second in the thread "Bad 
IP addresses"), only the last comment was identifiable as an addition, 
everything else was mixed in with and looked like part of Scott's 
answer. Since i was sure John hadn't quoted Scott's entire message to 
only add one line, i started looking through more carefully. After 
rereading John's post and his quotes of Scott several times, i finally 
found all the additions.
