you need a DVD player, like a CD rom but it plays DVDs, you'll probably get 
a program like  Power DVD with it, but it will also play in windows media 
player too. so if you haven't got a DVD player, it's shop upgrade, idf 
you've already got a DVD player, (most new machines have them as standard) 
you should be able to play already
