you're right. I should've said "privately." I think the list tosses attachments
into the trash, no?
the only problem I detected (before my AV found the virus) was Wordpad wouldn't
open. it gave a "couldn't load RichEdit control DLL. sys may be low memory or
file RICHED20.DLL missing or corrupt." I cleaned the machine, but it still
won't load Wordpad. I can go into Windows\options\cabs & select the
riched20.dll then open it with wordpad. the new copies of the DLL made no
difference. I renamed, then replaced the file. any ideas what's up? I'm
baffled. it's a bit cumbersome to use the backdoor each time I want Wordpad :-(
