[pchelpers] Re: need simple way to internet connect Windows 95 and XP systems.

Bob,

Sorry, but I don't quite understand if you mean that just 'installing' the
router
would make me able to send things a hundred times faster than floppy [no cd
write on
windows 95 computer]. My understanding is that this would need software,
etc.
to identify computers, etc. to send files directly from to and from each in
house
computers in what you, I think, are talking about.]

On the point of my saying this is temporary, I get a charge of seeing both
computer
screens and the TV connected to the Windows Machine. That 95 machine has a
video card
and software that I can't use on the XP machine. Also attached is an HP
5100C for which
I understand there are complications in attaching either to the XP computer.
So, I may want
this to be fairly permanent, both up and running on the internet. I can
scan, copy video
to the 95 and email[ or better yet, directly ] to the XP if what you are
suggesting is within
my capabilities. Remember, what I am talking about is a now and then thing
with regards
to having two computers acting as one.

Thanks much,

Lou
