I don't know how many connections. This the name of it is below, abd at the
Linksys site, the specs get a little complicated for me. Maybe
the term "4-Port" is the answer you are asking about.

"Linksys 4-Port 10/100 Cable/DSL Router [BEFSR411] from the local
Best Buy at a net of $49.99 after rebates."

Thanks for your continued interest. I don't want to buy the router if it
will
not work as I think it will for shops are funny about returning electrical
components which I understand with people like me out there, but
I sure don't think a real super connection where I have the computers
networked
in a way that I can send files back and forth is for me on an in house
network is for
me. Frankly, I don't need that as I am the only computer user in this house
hold.
