PcCowboy,
This was sent to me today. I have in my hands a black 25 foot cable with
AESP UTP ENHANCED CAT.5 24AWGX4P PATCH TYPE CM (UL)
C(UL) CMG and on and on, but I do see CAT.5 and it has plugs larger
than telephone jack plugs, plus another one footer about as thick with the
same type plug. It has something like Compliant Patch Cord /J Jumper
P/N 2200 Type CM 24 plus more. Then a six footer with the same type plugs
and identified with something that includes CAT.5 as well as
Golden Bridge E132776-Q (UL) CMR 75 DEGREE [SYMBOL] 4 PR AWG
CAA and on and on.
Does the above sound like "crossover cable", and if so what is the "nic"
behind
"xp" and to the "Win95 nix".
?
Sorry, for showing my ignorance, but then I can go to Best Buy and just ask
for
cross over cable if I don't already have what someone sent me today, as
described above.
