Hi Jackie
You'll know when you boot your machine with the
Win2000 CD in the drive, just like when you use a
bootable diskette. You'll get the options to boot to
CD or boot to hard drive. If you want to repair your
OS you'll want to boot to the CDROM and run setup.
When prompted, hit R for repair and follow the
instructions to repair your system.
Here's the URL with instructions on how to use your
ERD or Recovery Console to restore your registry if
necessary. Scroll down towards the end of the page,
pass the Commands table.

Hope that helps, Jackie.
