For web page developers there certainly is. People trying to create
pages that work for everyone on the internet need to see how their work
looks in different browsers. This gives them a way to find design flaws
and adjust the page. For the average user though, there is some speed
and convenience in using mozilla (it does email too). Add to that, some
browsers will malfunction when certain kinds of malware or virus get
into the system, often making web based repair difficult or impossible.
A second browser may remain unaffected because it is not vulnerable to
attack in the way internet explorer or outlook are.
