[pchelpers] monitor

When do you have to replace a monitor?  I mean, if it's still working, just the 
colors aren't right, will it hurt to continue using it?  I'm assuming from the 
feedback that something's not right with my monitor since things are on the 
dark side and my contrast is at 100 percent as well as brightness.
