These are two paths, not one, which is why there is an empty line in 
between:

That's just a "live" abbreviation for Application Data. Try typing 
%APPDATA% into Windows Explorer's address bar and typing Enter :-)

As you discovered, it's not easy importing mail from Thunderbird into 
Outlook, but it is possible, and it's only necessary once if someone 
wants to permanently switch from Thunderbird to Outlook. For 
synchronising mail, it's not necessary to export/import. Hopefully the 
other links i sent will help you with synchronising.
