My Cong. S.O. got the Magi Star virus (w32.magistar.39921@mm).
Among other things it deleted his FAT. He 'had' win2000 with FAT 32.
When I attempt to access the hard drive by any means available to me it
says: "no partition" ; "no defined partition"; "not initilized"; and stuff
like that.
Fdisk said no partition. Windows 2000 install showed the whole hard drive
and said that the hard drive appears to be empty. if it use to have a
operating system it has been erased.
Is there a utility that can recover any of the files on his Hdd without the
FAT?
Thanks,
Agape & 73, J. Setcer, N5QJ
