I have a wireless laptop--Acer Ferrari 4005- suppose windows froze and there
was no way to close it down other than to force it to close down. I had that
problem tonight I was working in Excel-- it just froze- nothing
worked--everything froze up I fiddled with it -- finally windows shut down but
my laptop was still running-- it didn't shut off-- I pressed the green
button that starts the laptop -- nothing grrrr!!!! so I left it tried to find
some info on this -- naadaa!!! yet-- I went back again and pressed the green
button down longer and it finally shut down-- Now I hope I can find out why
Excel froze up in the first place. Anyways those who do have laptops(notebooks)
probably had this happen to them at one time or another. I would like to how
they dealt with that problem -- It doesn't tell you that the start button will
close your laptop even you need to anywhere in the manual . Thank you - Jackie

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
