My old gigabyte motherboard and K6-200 (first version) always worked fine
(and is still working fine as far as I know - I sold it a couple of years
ago.) with a mix of SIMMs and one dimm. It's got 4x 8 meg SIMMs and 1x 32
meg pc66 dimm. Some motherboards must be better at memory management than
others!
