[pchelpers] is it called power management?

There are a few things I've not figured out in xp.
I'm not sure if you call this a power management problem, or what.

Every since I've had this new pc, after a while, the screen saver comes on.  
Then after that, it would automatically go into something like a sleep mode... 
and the screen would go dark till you move the mouse.

Well, last night it didn't do it.  I didn't change anything, but it just hasn't 
done it since.  Now after the screen saver comes on, after a bit it goes to the 
blue screen where you can change users if you want and stays there.

How do I get it to do what it was doing <other than doing a system restore>?
