Hi Hans: No it both email and internet, yes it does mess up your computer
when that happens.  I have a sneaking feeling though it might be the cable
modem I have to fiddle with it and reset a lot-- I really think that might
be the problem I checked  the cable outside the house its brand new. So I
don't know where else to look-- things seem to be running okay--for

Are you losing the internet or just email?
My ISP sometimes loses my email capability and I have ot
get my email via the internet rather than thru outlook express.
Those are just short outages typically.

Also I have had my computer totally go bonkers
and reset my email with a numerical address for
email rather than a pop3 for my cable modem. A
simple adjustment resets it and I'm good for another
4-5 months.
