My situation is similar. The IP of my system to the outside world is 
static due to having a web server in the office.
Those not supporting such a system can be accommodated with a dynamic 
IP. It changes often and provides more protection from hackers.
You may find your IP reads the same for several devices since it acts as 
the IP for all internet access  for your systems.
Other machines at your location can have individual LAN IPs which don't 
get exposed to the internet.
In this way, one connection can provide internet for several machines 
one or more of which may be a server.
