[pchelpers] Re: hybris

Yes, very strange; looks like TrendMicro has a different search
engine on the UK/Ireland site than the global site, and one
that's not at all spelling tolerant. That's especially stupid in
the world of viruses because every AV has different naming
conventions. This search engine accepts hybris and hybris.b but
finds nothing with "hybris b" (both with and without quotes)! Did
you really get no results for plain "hybris" too?

Well, looks like this time the AV was stupid, not your puter, and
not only because it can't make up its mind as to how much malware
it's detecting. It's insane asking users whether to clean/
disinfect or delete when the malware is sitting there by itself
and not in a text document or other file that the user might want
to try to salvage.

Maybe there was just a registry entry left from an old infection.
Did you run Kaspersky's online scan? I've had more false
positives with Trend than any other scanner, but it could be that
this time there really was something on your computer that the
others didn't find. It's very unlikely though because it's an old
worm from 2001.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
