Were you able to follow all the steps exactly as described? Did you get
any error messages?
The directions say "change the owner from administrator to whatever name
you are using" but my current owner was/is system, not administrator,
but maybe that's because i've turned off user account control.
I wasn't able to follow the step "click OWNER RIGHTS" because there was
no such button available, but maybe that's because i only looked to see
how the first steps would work but didn't click OK (since my iTunes works).
Have you tried turning off user account account control? (control panel
< user accounts)
