Yes, and they didn't work.  <so far>
I don't have time now to go into a reply about it.
Tried various things I read online too.
I was hoping this would work:
http://i.nconspicuo.us/2008/11/18/itunes-8-will-not-load-or-install-on-windows-vista-you-must-restart-your-system-for-the-configuration-changes-made-to-itunes-to-take-effect/
but it didn't either.

So anyway, I'm sorry but I have an appointment and have to run.
