[pchelpers] Re: getting AntiVir updates

Hi Ekhart,

I repeat, I've never seen it have trouble downloading the update; It
always seems to be immediate; that is not a sign of a server problem.

That's 8 times more often than the default; if everyone did that, and
if the problem is indeed due to a slow server, they'd need 8 times
more servers and/or 8 times more bandwidth, just to keep up.

The instructions for the temp file cleaning are very brief. The
default settings for CCleaner will remove things that some people may
want to keep, since one of its functions is to perform privacy
cleanups.

I'd say something like this:

Enable Internet Explorer - Temporary Internet Files, System -
Temporary Files, and Utilities - Antivir PE Classic (on the
Applications tab). Other items can be set as you want; if you're
not sure, then you might want to turn them off.

Also, "as often as necessary" sounds odd. I'd say "repeatedly". I'd
also suggest 4 times maximum. Also note that under Vista, you'll need
to RIGHT-click on the CCleaner icon and select "Run as Administrator",
when starting CCleaner.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
