Wondered why there had been no mail.

Actually, what is the preferred method of protecting a computer from lightning? 
I have always assumed that the telephone terminal point in my house included 
lightning protection. I guess there is nothing on the 230 volt mains except 
what is built in to the power supply.

Just as well I live in a low lightning area!
