[pchelpers] folder missing in thunderbird

Folder missing in Thunderbird.

I have my email sorted to folders in Thunderbird and today one of them 
and it's sub folder is gone.
It was there yesterday, so I did a system restore to yesterday, and it 
is still not there.
So I recreated the folder, meanwhile all the messages I had there are gone.

What happened?

(It's not in my trash either.)  It just so happens it was a folder for 
things that I use on my pda, so it's a bummer that I lost those emails.
