Is only this folder acting this way? Can you move other folders?

Do you realise that's easily done by pressing Ctrl+a and then 
rightclicking and choosing Copy To (safer than Move To, especially in 
the case of this strange problem you're experiencing).

Can you rename other folders? I haven't heard of these kind of problems 
before.

BTW, you *can* use the same name twice as long as the two folders are 
not inside the same folder. You can make a new folder with the correct 
name as a subfolder of a different folder, and then you can drag it to 
the correct position once you've deleted the one that is misbehaving.
