[pchelpers] dvd decoder

Since I'm sick I got my laptop and took it to the bedroom to watch a 
movie/dvd that I had just purchased.
I had watched movies before on it I think, but it's been a long time.

This one would not play.  It said I had to have a dvd decoder to play 
the dvd.

Can someone recommend a 'free dvd decoder' download?
