Ginger,
I am not able to explain why Firefox is better except to say it is safer
because it doesn't allow malicious sites to download malware onto your
computer the way IE does. I'm sure Ekhart and others here can do a much
better job than that. If you type your question into Google you will
find much information on the subject. One explanation I found was here:
