Hi Ed,

I thought it sounded familiar. I checked, and I've gotten an email
from them. I left it marked as un-read, planning to look into it in
more depth before doing anything about it.
I tend to dislike, on principle, any site that sends email using
someone else's name and email address. If someone gets an email that
has MY name and address as the sender, I want it to either be one that
*I* personally wrote, or I want it to be thoroughly faked (as in virus
and worm emails). If I personally send emails, then I don't have to
worry about the recipient getting spammed, phished, or whatever as a
result of my poor judgement, which would basically be my fault, even
though someone else actually does the dastardly deed.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
