If it is still on your hard drive (deleted but not written over yet), it 
is possible to recover a file using a utility such as active undelete. 
You can get a copy from:
http://www.active-undelete.com/
It's one you pay for, but it can do a good job recovering files for you.

Note: If the file has been written over- I hope you didn't need it.
