[pchelpers] Re: critical Sun Java security update

Hi Cy and Scott

I'm pretty confused now about what you've been doing Cy

And what is Microsoft VM under Internet Options, Scott?

Where did you find that, Cy?

What exactly did you do? I'm lost.

Yes, but an insecure version (1.4.2_03) The whole point of my
post was to tell everyone that it's necessary to update Sun Java
because the old versions have a serious security problem.

Also, due to confusion and lack of usability at Sun's website and
inconsistency in its naming of releases, the newest version is
not 1.4.2_06, but 1.5, which is very confusingly also called 5.0
and JRE50. Both of these versions include the fix for the
security flaw, but most people will probably prefer getting the
newer version right away since it also fixes some other minor issues.

In order to get JRE 5.0, one should not go to
http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Instead, go to the home page http://java.com/en/index.jsp and
click on Downloads at the top.

Or go directly here

Where did you find "under Plugins", in IE, Cy?
