[pchelpers] Re: computer viruses and worms

Hi Jackie

Since you're the techie of the family they rely on you
to take care of their computers! Whenever something
goes wrong with my computer a colleague always tells
me that it was a good learning experience!! <g> Oh
well, keeping up with the worms is a constant race
against time!

I didn't realize my workstation was infected till I
went into Symantec site to get it scanned online after
a warning from our regional office that their mail
server was infected! That was when I found out and a
look into the registry told me our SirCAm was hiding
there as well. Oh well, I've since installed AVG and
scheduled it to update automatically once a week and a
daily scan too.

Looks like we can expect more of these worms as more
people are losing their job and have time on their
hands!

Take care.

Tonia
