I am presently running windows 98 with a 3.2 gig hardrive for windows and software and an extended DOS partition D: on a 20 gig hardrive about 1.1 gig with the rest of the 20 gig partitioned for linux. I just bought a 40 gig hardrive and for the time being I want to put my C: and D: drive on it for windows. I have a zip backup, but is their a better way to copy the windows system over to it and any special partitioning on this size drive? also I am going to remove the extend partition on 20 gig that was drive D: and I think I can make this a linux partition such as user? Also I bought a buslink cd R/W 48X to replace my reg CD and it uses Nero software any comments on this? I can't keep both cd rom drives unless I take my zip out which I may do later, also Iam instaling a TR-3 Tape drive to do TAR Backups on my Linux. any comments or tips would be apprecciated George
