All you have to do in order to print is to open the file in Writer. I
tried that and it works.
It's impossible to help your friend unless we get a more detailed
response to the help already posted for him here. Please ask him to
answer the message i posted or this one and respond to one item at a
time, quoting a few lines of my message and responding to that part.
Did he go to this link i sent and follow the directions?:

Did he open Writer?
Did he press F4? (or view > data sources)
etc. for all the steps in the explanation at the link above.
