Hi Scott

Thanks for your input. I originally used Partition Magic which was
hopeless and wouldn't partition my backup drive. I then used Arconis 
Partition Expert
to partition the drive.

After reading your post, I deleted the partition in question using Casper XP
and then cloned the drive from my master HDD - using Casper XP again.

All working well now.
