It would not have created any problems. When you install software the  
install wizard looks for the root drive adn installs to it regardless of  
the letter. if F is your root it makes no diffrence to a program  
installing f it was F or C the wizard would have picked it up. But since  
the creation of computer HDD C has been for the master drive adn we are  
use to it so we always go there first out of habit or now nature. The  
computer would have never had a problem or been confused its just us  
humans who would have a hard time getting use to something that strange. I  
have never encountered the C drive changing, however I have had A & B  
drive dropped (you get the B with a second floppy) and the floppy was D  
and the CD Drive was E adn there was no A or B anywhere, even in the BIOS  
the drive letters were history. I did get it back but I can't remember  
how, that was a long time ago.
