Hi Everyone:
Well I am a bit better I am still not out of the woods yet - I
have to take it easy -- I took out my cd rom out took it apart literally
and shook it good, put it all back together again popped back into my
tower and put a music cd in it works fine, I was told I was fortunate
it works. There is a sale on ram here only on pc133 - he told me I
could mix and match by changing the clock speed to 100 in the bios-I
already tried to install a 256 pc 133 - and it wouldn't work but I
didn't go into the bios to change the clock speed. What do you think any
comments? He said it would had worked if I went into the bios and
changed the clock speed to 100, right now I got 2 x 128 megs of ram
sdram pc 100's I want to add another 256- he says I can do it but
I would like some feed back I think someone already said you couldn't
mix and match-but he said all the pc 133 would do is go at 100 speed
instead I would like some feed back- I have a voice recognition it is a
big hog on memory Thank you very much - Jackie
