Inge,

I would try first to determine if the software that you used to make your
backup failed in some way to properly write to the CD. It is possible that
the software if holding up the door and not allowing it to work. Also many
CD drives have an eject button on the front that will allow you manually to
open the door.

I would reboot (Cold) and see if this would not correct your situation. If
it does then again take a look at your software that you used to make your
backup. I hope you can get the door open and put your WTLIB CD back in.

SOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All this talk about the CD ROM drive! My machine must have been listening. I
removed my WT Lib CD to make a backup of some rather large file onto a CD.
Now the door to the CD ROM drive will not open. How do you open the door
manually without breaking anything? My computer guru Bryan is on vacation
and I need to put the WT Library back in to do my research. Any safe
suggestions?
