[pchelpers] Re: can't open pictures now

Hi Bevan,

Well, in the past, when I went to Windows Explorer, to the directory with the
pictures, I could click on one and it would open in the default photo editing
program
that I last used to open a picture. I would be happy if it just worked like
that
again.

Hi Re-Na,

First of all, they "take over" the image files like that because they assume
that you are going to use their program to view the images. I've found that
even when you "properly" uninstall an app (via Control Panel - Add/Remove
Programs), they don't always release their file associations.

One thing you could do is install another file viewer (such as Irfanview,
which is absolutely free) and that should then take over the image file
associations.

Regards,

Bevan
