Go to Start, Run, type CMD and press ENTER. When the CMD window
appears, type IPCONFIG /ALL. Note the IP address (probably
"192.168.0.64"), subnet mask (probably "255.255.255.0"), Default
gateway (probably "192.168.0.1"), and DNS servers (there will probably
be at lest 2 listed).

Go to Control Panel, Network Connections, RIGHT-click on the icon for
the network connection, select Properties, double-click on "Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP)", select "Use the following IP address", and fill in
the values provided by IPCONFIG above. Use "192.168.0.1" as the very
first DNS server, followed by the DNS numbers provided by IPCONFIG. If
you have more DNS servers than you have room to put them, click on the
Advanced button and go to the DNS tab to put in the rest. If you have
problems, put both items back on "automatic".

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
