Pity it gave no details. There are several things to try. Since the 
email number is tricky to find:
1) Create some sub folders and filter the messages to them by age or 
subject.
2) Scan again to find where the infection went.
By repeating this you will eventually find the message and be able to 
delete it from your mail.
3) Scan until you can confirm the infection is gone.
