[pchelpers] bad malware or whatever

I can hardly go to any links without being hijacked to a page named "about
blank".
It takes me to a site at: http://checksystem-online.com/id/4912933/4/1.
At that site, it wont let me cancle or X out. I can let the scan start, go
to windows
task master and delete the run, but the site I wanted to go to is lost. All
it has is
as a button is cancel, X and OK. They don't function as you would think.
After a search of the internet on a different computer [using google on my
infected computer triggers me into the problem cited above] I found some
software called XoftSpySE for 439.90 which claims to solve that problem. I
have ran it several times as well as RegCure from the same company as well
as the free AVI scan and ad-aware6..
Nothing in error is found in those scans as of now as they indicated all the
bad stuff was cleared, but I still have the problem.
I have emailed the techs at paretologic.com, the company for XoftSpySE and I
am
awaiting their reply.
Any suggestions would be appreciated as I can hardly use anything but email
on this
XP computer.
Thanks,

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
