[pchelpers] Re: backing up Thunderbird, Firefox, and Netscape

Hi Gerald and Arlene

Backups always refer to personal data that you produce in or with a
program. You can't back up programs themselves. All you can do is keep a
copy of the program's uninstalled version, i.e. the program's installer,
so that you can reinstall it if necessary.

It does however make sense to back up personal data that you produce or
collect in your browser like favorites and sometimes other personal data
like passwords etc.

They open without any problem in my Firefox.
