[pchelpers] appearance question / outlook express

In outlook express...
the row that has 'create mail', 'sent/rec', 'reply', 'forward', and so on.....
well, I want to be able to condense that row.
On my laptop, it is all spread out and some of the options you have to click an 
arrow and a drop down shows more choices.
On my desktop, they all fit easily on the one row, so I know it can be done. 
I tried moving the mouse over it to see if an arrow came up to drag the blocks 
smaller, but none did.
