Run up RegEdit and look in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
to see if there's anything alphabetically between RegVac and River
Past Audio Converter. Don't forget to check the DisplayName value for
the {.....} keys too.  If you find something there, then there might
be something wrong with it.

I think I've seen something similar before, but don't recall the
details.
