Hi Billy
It's very common for an anti virus software to give out a false virus alert
when you install software while the anti-virus program is running.
Microsoft always recommend that we shut down the anti-virus program before
installing their software (or any software for that matter.)
Hope that helps.

Hello all, I installed Power Quest drive image 2002 and tried to take an image
of my c drive, suddenly I got a message the Trend, something or other had
detected a virus and gave instructions on how to start my pc, it didn't say it
had cleaned my infection but my ps started ok.
I ran a complete test with AVg and it was clear (I updated only two days ago)
and as Trend was the thing that told me I had a virus, I went to trend
housecall and ran it, again, no virus????
Any ideas or indeed definite reasons for this
Billy

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
