Technically, it does not involve removing the drive. All that is needed 
is to be able to hook up the cables from another computer. That is the 
drive power, IDE or SATA. If the two are close together it can be fairly 
easy.

MOTE: The connection should be as a secondary drive only. That way it 
cannot infect the other system. DO NOT try to boot the drive on another 
system!
