[pchelpers] Re: XP Pro

I think that the Home version would do just fine.
Just a thought, if you go to ebay or some other place and look for
Windows98,you'll find the price surprisingly high compared to XP, etc. so
don't choose by price, go with what you want. If you choose Vista because of
price, you may find mucho problems ahead due to compatibility issues that
youwouldn't probably ever have with XP. Just my two cents

Pro sells for the same price as Vista Premium edition, which I found rather
annoying. I was hoping XP would have dropped in price. So I have one more
question. Does the XP Home edition have good networking capabilities, or is
this best done in XP Professional? I want to network at least two computers
together. The reason I ask is because if I'm going to fork out that kind of
money for XP, maybe the cheaper XP Home will work just fine in this case
instead of buyer the higher priced Pro. Susan
