I should point out that microwaves only work if they are tuned to the

Anything outside that would have different effects. As long as the 
frequency is well chosen, there should be no microwave effect.
It should also be pointed out that other frequencies might be absorbed 
by different molecules, so hopefully, one has been chosen that cannot 
have any biological or medical effects. You are welcome to research the 
subject if you like.
