[USING CAPS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU TO READ]
I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH NEW RECHARABLE BATTERIES, THE CHARGER
CONNECTED AND NO LIGHT INDICATING A LOW BATTERY THAT IS ON TOP OF THE MOUSE.
FURTHER, I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH TWO NEW UNITS AND TOOK
ONE OF THE UNITS [MOUSE AND RECEIVER] TO BEST BUY FOR TESTING AND
IT WORKED FINE ON THEIR COMPUTER.
I use standard

IN NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS THE COMPUTER HAS HAD PLENTY OF
TIME TO RECOGNIZE THE

NO NEW DEVICES WERE BEING INSTALLED.

THIS MOUSE HAS A RESET BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM FOR TURNING
ON AND OF,. A LIGHT ON THE BOTTOM WHEN IT IS ON AND LIGHT
THAT GOES ON ON THE TOP WHEN THE BATTERY IS LOW.

I HAVE TRIED IT THE MOUSES WITHIN A COUPLE OF INCHES AND VARIOUS
DISTANCES UP TO SEVERAL FEET.

YOU ARE RIGHT THERE. I HAVE UNINSTALLED THE P2 WIRED MOUSE, THE
TWO OPTICALS AS STAND ALONE AND WITH THE P2, THE MOUSE POINTER
JUST WONT MOVE. I HAVE DONE SOME DIAGNOSTIC TESTS ON THE USB
SLOTS AS WELL AS TRYING DIFFERENT ONEW. THE COMPUTER IS A DELL
32 BIT THAT IS FOUR YEARS OLD. MAYBE THE INSTALLATION SOFTWIRE JUST
DOESN'T PROVIDE FOR THIS MOUSE WHICH WAS SHIPPED TO ME WITHOUT
SOFTWARE. THE INSTRUCTIONS MAKE TO MENTION OF SOFTWARE. I GUESS
IT JUST RELIES ON THE XP SOFTWARE.
I AM ABOUT AT THE POINT OF JUST PUTTING THE MOUSE ON A SHELF AND STICKING
WITH THE WIRED ONE. IT'S A CHALLANGE TO MAKE IT WORK, BUT IT'S NOT WORTH
HAULING IT INTO BEST BUY FOR THEIR EVALUATION.
